| THE BASICS OF CLEANSING CRYSTALS AND GEMSTONES by Loretta Marie |
Begin by taking a small glass bowl and placing in it one cup of spring or distilled water. Then add
to this 1/8 tsp of Sea Salt and 1/8 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar (not white or any other flavor). Then
mix together thoroughly.
Then add your crystals to the mixture and let them soak in the there for approximately ten
minutes. This will release any negative energies and imbalances that was extracted from the
environment, you and anyone else and deposited on and in the crystals and gemstones.
After you have completed this; then take the crystals and gemstones and place them under cold
running water for about two minutes. You can use either a gallon pitcher or your sink’s tap water.
After that take your crystals and wipe them gently with a soft cotton or silk cloth removing any
water and residue. Then place them into your velveteen storage pouch
You must then throw the spring or distilled water outside. Do not throw it down the sink or toilet
drain. You do not want to contaminate your drinking supply. Find a brown patch of soil outside to
do this.
Remember the water is polluted with negative energies and emotional vibrations. You want your
crystals and gemstones clean and clear before you use them again but you do not want to
contaminate your local drinking supply.
Remember this is a very important part of keeping the crystals and gemstones effective. If you use
crystals and gemstones over and over again without cleansing them then they will eventually
crack, break in half and/or will mysteriously disappear. So please keep them clean.
